So, I was not lost. I didn’t end up at the wrong course and, yes, the event was hosted by the Alberta Women Entrepeneurs, but they extended the opportunity for me to attend what I discovered to be one of the most well-prepared presentations and workshops on building your Business Plan.
The presenters, Kari Morton of Business Link (presenting on market research and the benefits to your planning) and Kiran Sagoo of the Alberta Women Entrepreneurs (Presenting on how to build your business plan) were both incredibly strong presenters as well as very charismatic and engaging with the group.
The other participants of the workshop were also great contributors to the learning as everyone shared experiences and insight. The group discussions were often so engaging the presenter would have to reign us in.
For any aspiring woman entrepreneur, I highly recommend the amazing array for support and educational opportunities offered by the AWE to help you get on the right track.
For anyone building a business, I was quite impressed by the vast wealth of resources and supports offered by Business Link, most for free! I know they’ll hear from me soon!
